Join us for A Sheltered Life's Magnificent Masquerade Gala on Friday, November 10, 2017, as we continue our mission of supporting local and international organizations that help shelter children. This inspiring evening will raise funds for and raise awareness about the amazing accomplishments made by International Cooperating Ministries (ICM), Boy and Girls Country and Southern Smoke for Harvey Relief.
ICM's mission is to build churches/Hope Centers within walking distance of every man, woman, and child in our lifetime. A Hope Center provides children and adults with a safe place during the day to get food, education, possible medical treatment, spiritual guidance and vocational training. These Hope Centers become a much-needed lifeline to help break cultural cycles which place children at risk.
Boys and Girls Country, located in Northwest Houston, provides a Christian home for more than 100 children and young adults annually whose families are in crisis. The program provides each child with loving Teaching Parents who guide them spiritually, set boundaries and show them how to grow to their fullest potential.
This year, A Sheltered Life is donating a portion of the proceeds to Southern Smoke for Harvey Relief. An effort lead by Chef Chris Shepherd to support those in the culinary and beverage community affected by the hurricane.
Reception and silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Guest will be treated to an evening filled with specially selected wines, dinner, live auction, entertainment, and dancing.
Where: We are pleased to announce that the gala will take place at new location.
